Open the Messages app on your Android phone to get started. Get text messages on computer. You will see a message saying to enter the code shown on your Mac to allow iPhone text messages to also be sent and received on your Mac. Tap in that number and wait for the device to be verified.

Italian couturier Giambattista Valli is lending his flair for high fashion to MAC Cosmetics.
The makeup mega-brand announced the fashion designer as the mastermind behind its latest limited-edition collaboration, which hit MAC counters last week.
“Giambattista Valli brings his effortless elegance and luxurious celebration of the female form to a stunning collection of timeless lipsticks,” according to a press release.
The Giambattista Valli for MAC collection features five shades of matte lipstick — including a stunning pale pink, rich yellow-red and a dark cherry — as well as a pearlescent clear lip gloss pot dubbed “Lena.” The collection is priced at $21 for the lipsticks and $27.50 for the Crystal Glaze Gloss.

The Ten Spot opens in Vancouver
The Ten Spot, a chain of wax and nail bars from Toronto, has arrived in Vancouver.
“We like to think of ourselves as a ‘reverse-mullet’ — it’s party in the front but business in the back,” Kristen Wood, CEO and creator of The Ten Spot, said in a press release. “For our guests it’s all about a funky and fun experience where you leave polished and primped but behind closed doors we are serious about service. Deighton Cup gets simply stylish with new hat service

Don’t have a hat for this year’s Deighton Cup? No worries, because now you can rent one.
Hastings Hattery, which is the official women’s hat sponsor of the annual horse race and hat party, is offering a selection of fancy toppers for the day — as well as any other special events on your social calendar.
Hat rentals start at $25, plus a $10 cleaning fee, and can be picked from the selection at the Hastings Hattery (157 West Hastings) or the Granville Island Hat Shop (1666 Johnston St.).
Back for its seventh year, the Deighton Cup is set to take place July 25 at Hastings Racecourse.
